Korean Skin Boosters Compared: Rejuran, Juvelook, Hylo-Wave, GOURI, Re2O and Cellredm (2026)

Clear skin booster serum texture on a soft-colored surface

Are you planning a skin booster in Korea but stuck on which one: Rejuran, Juvelook, Hylo-Wave, GOURI, or one of the newer names you keep seeing on social media?

Read this before you choose. Most people pick a booster by popularity, and then wonder why the result doesn’t match what they wanted.

After reading, you will know what each of the six boosters on our menu actually does, what they cost at a Seoul clinic in 2026, what patients go through on the day and after, and which one fits your concern and budget. You will also know when a skin booster is not the answer at all.

I’m Dr. Ha Chang-ik, head doctor of Peachcell Clinic in Sinsa, Seoul. Every first visit starts with a 3D skin analysis on EVE MUSE, followed by a consultation with me, the doctor who does the injections. We use genuine products at the full stated dose, and our treatment rooms are private one-person rooms.

Skin boosters are a big part of my work. As academic director of the Korean Society of Filler Medicine (KSFM), I gave an invited lecture and live demonstration in August 2026 on tear trough correction and skin booster effects with Hylo-Wave. I also try the boosters I offer on my own skin.

I wrote this guide because of a misconception I see constantly: that “skin booster” is one treatment and the only question is which brand is best. The boosters below work in different ways. A booster that is excellent for thin, sensitive skin can do very little for acne scars, and the reverse is also true.

What a Korean skin booster is (and the three groups that matter)

A skin booster is an injectable placed in or just under the skin to improve skin quality: hydration, texture, firmness, tone, and in some cases mild volume. It is different from a filler, which is mainly used to shape and add volume in a specific spot.

For choosing, I find it helpful to sort boosters into three rough groups:

  • Repair and calming: boosters such as Rejuran (PN, polynucleotide) that support the skin’s recovery. Well suited to thin, tired, sensitive skin.
  • Collagen-stimulating: boosters such as Juvelook (PDLLA) and GOURI (liquid PCL) that prompt your skin to build collagen over weeks. Better for texture, pores, scars, mild hollowness and firmness.
  • Newer structure-focused boosters: Re2O is an ECM-type booster, based on the extracellular matrix that supports skin cells. I explain why this matters in my video on why some skin boosters don’t seem to work.

Hylo-Wave and Cellredm sit across these groups, which is why I describe them by what I use them for below.

Six Korean skin boosters compared

BoosterWhat I mainly use it forHow results come
Rejuran (Healer, HB, Eye)Thin, sensitive or tired skin; fine uneven texture; crepey under-eyes (Eye)Gradual over weeks; best as a series
Juvelook Skin / Juvelook VolumePores, acne scars, uneven texture (Skin); mild hollows (Volume)Collagen builds over about 1 to 3 months
Hylo-WaveSkin quality plus soft volume, including the tear trough and areas that look hollowSome change early, more over the following weeks
GOURIOverall firmness and mild sagging across the face, without a filled lookGradual collagen-type change over weeks
Re2OTexture and skin density, often in thin or aging skinGradual
CellredmWhole-face texture, pores and tone; often paired with Juvelook Skin or Sylfirm XGradual

The “how results come” column is a general pattern, not a promise. Your skin thickness, age and sun damage change the timeline.

How to choose a skin booster by your skin concern

“My skin is thin, sensitive and easily red”

Start with Rejuran. It is the booster I reach for when skin needs to recover before anything stronger. See our Rejuran Healer page for details.

“My pores are large and I have acne scars”

Juvelook Skin is usually a better fit, often combined with Sylfirm X or with Cellredm for the whole face. Read more on the Juvelook page.

“My face looks hollow and tired, especially under the eyes or below the cheekbones”

Hylo-Wave, Juvelook Volume or GOURI. For a “peanut-shaped” face where the cheeks look sunken under the cheekbones, I explain the approach in this video on hollow cheeks.

“My skin feels loose, but I’m not ready for strong lifting”

GOURI is one option, sometimes called “liquid lifting”. It is worth knowing its limits, which I cover in my honest answer on liquid lifting.

“I want everything”

Most people have one main concern and one or two smaller ones. I treat the main one first. Stacking four boosters in one visit is more expensive and rarely necessary.

When a skin booster is not the answer

  • Clear sagging along the jawline or jowls. Boosters improve skin quality; they do not replace lifting. Energy-based lifting such as Ultherapy PRIME, Onda or XERF may suit you better.
  • Pigmentation such as melasma or sun spots. That is usually a laser and skin-care question first.
  • Active acne or infection in the area. We calm that down before injecting.
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding. We wait.
  • A known allergy to an ingredient, such as fish products for Rejuran. Tell me in the consultation.

I would rather tell you to skip a booster than sell you one that won’t do what you hope.

How a skin booster treatment goes at Peachcell, step by step

  1. WhatsApp consultation before you travel: send makeup-free photos in daylight and your main concern. You get my opinion and an estimate.
  2. Arrival at 121 Dosan-daero near Sinsa Station. Consultation is on the 3rd floor.
  3. EVE MUSE 3D skin analysis to map texture, pores, pigment and redness.
  4. Consultation with me to choose the booster, dose and injection areas.
  5. Numbing cream, about 30 to 40 minutes.
  6. Injection in a private room, usually 15 to 30 minutes depending on the booster and area. Multiple small injections are common for boosters; some are placed with a cannula.
  7. Aftercare instructions and follow-up after you leave.

Skin booster cost in Korea (Peachcell prices, winter 2026)

Peachcell’s listed prices in winter 2026. These are event prices that change, VAT (10%) is separate, and the final quote is confirmed after consultation.

BoosterListed price (KRW)
Rejuran Healer 2cc₩198,000
Rejuran HB 1cc₩138,000
Juvelook Volume 2cc₩120,000
Pore Premium: Cellredm 1 vial + Juvelook Skin 2cc + Sylfirm X₩290,000
Hylo-Wave 2cc₩490,000
Hylo-Wave Key Doctor event: Hylo-Wave 6cc₩1,290,000
GOURI 1 vial₩590,000
Re2O 1 vial₩660,000
Cellredm 1 vial₩590,000

See the full winter 2026 price list.

What changes the price: the dose your skin needs, the area (full face, under-eyes, neck), whether you need one booster or a combination, and the number of sessions. A cheap per-cc price means little if the dose is low.

Results and recovery: what to expect day by day

Patients usually report that skin looks less tired and makeup sits better within a few weeks, with collagen-type boosters continuing to change over one to three months. Results vary, and boosters are gradual by nature.

  • Day 0: small bumps at injection points (most visible with Rejuran and Juvelook), redness, possible bruising.
  • Days 1 to 3: bumps settle for most people. Light makeup is usually fine from the next day.
  • Up to about a week: bruises fade. Under-eye treatments can swell a little more.
  • First week: no alcohol, smoking, sauna or strong massage on the treated area. Sunscreen daily.

Risks include bruising, swelling, infection, and with collagen-stimulating boosters, small lumps if placed or prepared incorrectly. Correct dilution and depth matter, which is one reason the doctor’s experience matters.

Planning your Seoul trip, and how to choose a clinic

  • Book your booster on day 1 or 2 of your trip, and allow about 2 hours at the clinic.
  • Most people can fly the next day. Pack SPF 50.
  • If you also plan lifting or laser, tell us in advance; we plan the order on the same visit.

When comparing clinics, ask to see the sealed box or vial before opening and check the authenticity label or QR code where there is one. Ask how many cc or vials you are getting, and who injects. You can read about my background on Dr. Ha Chang-ik’s profile.

Frequently asked questions

Which Korean skin booster is best?

There is no single best one. Rejuran suits thin, sensitive skin; Juvelook suits pores and scars; Hylo-Wave, Juvelook Volume and GOURI suit hollowness and firmness. The right one depends on your main concern.

How much does a skin booster cost in Korea?

At Peachcell in winter 2026, single-booster prices range from ₩120,000 for Juvelook Volume 2cc to ₩660,000 for one vial of Re2O, plus 10% VAT. The final quote is confirmed after consultation.

Can I combine two skin boosters?

Yes, when the analysis shows two separate concerns, for example Cellredm with Juvelook Skin. I don’t combine boosters by default.

How long do skin booster results last?

It depends on the booster and your skin. Repair-type boosters usually need a series; collagen-stimulating boosters build over months. I explain the expected timeline for your choice in the consultation.

Is there downtime after a skin booster?

Usually short: small bumps for one to three days and possible bruising for up to about a week. Most people wear light makeup the next day.

Results vary by individual. Every treatment plan is decided after an in-person consultation with the doctor.

Not sure which booster fits you? Ask before you fly

Send a few makeup-free photos and your main concern on WhatsApp. I’ll tell you which booster I would choose for your skin, how much you need, and an estimated price, before you book anything. The consultation is free, we reply in English.

I was looking for a clinic that would offer reasonable prices with good service, not rushed like other major chains. The whole process from start to end was so smooth and every staff member treated me with care! The director is also so careful during the procedure.

Above and beyond! I booked via their Instagram and it was quick and easy. They were very accommodating upon my arrival and the whole process was quick and smooth. They even provided a friendly, helpful translator who had a lot of insights into the procedures that were being done given her experience translating for other patients. She stayed with me throughout the whole process and was helpful in asking the doctor questions and providing guidance on the whole process! I consulted with one of their doctors who gave me his expert recommendation on what needs to be done for my face given my personal goals. They were not pushy at all on the procedures and even provided value-added services to my final package which was much appreciated. The procedures themselves were efficient - a doctor did both my lifting and microneedling treatments, and they adjusted whenever I expressed that I had some pain or discomfort. The post-procedure facial helped soothe my face and minimize redness and after effects. Cannot recommend this clinic enough for when you’re looking for a place to get your skin treatments done in Seoul! I will definitely be back.

They provided an english interpreter who walked me through the visit every step of the way. Her name is Sun and she is absolutely fabulous. The doctor, manager, and every assistant along the way made this a seamless operation and every detail was thought out- from the relaxing room with the numbing cream to the stuffed animal to hold onto for comfort. I highly recommend them!

Was recommended by a family member, came in not knowing what to expect. Consultation was quick and beginner friendly, although I did have to wait quite a bit. Probably because the place is popular. Will have to wait to see definitive results but wouldn't mind visiting again if the results prove great!

I had an incredible experience at Peachcell Clinic! From the moment I walked in, the staff and doctor made me feel so welcomed and well cared for. They started with a detailed EveMuse 3D facial analysis, which really helped identify my exact skin concerns rather than just offering a generic treatment.. The doctor personally evaluated my skin condition and recommended Sylfirm X and botox. Everything was thoroughly explained step-by-step, making me feel completely safe and confident. Receiving the treatment in a private, 1-on-1 room was so comfortable and relaxing. If you’re looking for high-quality, personalized dermatological care in Seoul, I highly recommend Peachcell Clinic. Definitely coming back! 💕✨

I visited the clinic after being recommended by an acquaintance while looking for a place where the doctor personally provides consultations. The director examined my face directly and recommended the treatments I needed, which made me feel very confident and trusting. I have very little facial fat and thin skin, so the doctor recommended the XERF lifting treatment for me. He said that radiofrequency lifting suits my face well, and after the procedure I’m extremely satisfied. My skin feels firmer, there’s a noticeable lifting effect, and my facial shape looks more refined. I could really feel how carefully the doctor performed the lifting, and I’m very grateful. I’ll definitely come back for XERF lifting every six months. Thank you so much!

Peach Cell Clinic, which recently opened in Sinsa-dong! It’s super easy to find since it’s right near Exit 8 of Sinsa Station on Line 3. From the moment I walked in, I was drawn to the beautiful and cozy atmosphere. Before the procedure, I had a consultation directly with the head doctor, which really boosted my confidence and trust. Another big plus was the 3D imaging, which helped clearly identify areas that could be improved. From anesthesia to the procedure itself, the staff were incredibly attentive, and I’m very satisfied with the results. If you’re looking for a great dermatology clinic near Sinsa Station, I highly recommend♥️
