Ultherapy Cost in Korea: What You Pay per Shot, When Results Show, and Whether It Is Worth It for Your Face

Ultherapy PRIME device at Peachcell Clinic, Seoul

Are you comparing Ultherapy prices and wondering why one clinic quotes 100 shots while another talks about a full face?

Read this before you book. In Korea, Ultherapy is priced by the shot, so the price only makes sense once you know how many shots your face needs, and whether Ultherapy is the right lift for your face at all.

By the end you will know how Korean clinics price Ultherapy, what Peachcell charges, how many shots different areas usually take, when results appear, what recovery looks like, and how to tell if it is worth it for you.

I’m Dr. Ha Chang-ik, head doctor of Peachcell Clinic in Sinsa, Seoul. I graduated from Korea University College of Medicine and serve as Academic Director of the Korean Society of Filler Medicine. Lifting is a large part of what I do every week.

Every first visit at Peachcell starts with a 3D skin scan on EVE MUSE. After that a doctor, not a counselor, consults you and plans your treatment. We use a genuine Ultherapy PRIME device and genuine cartridges.

I wrote this because many international patients arrive with a shot number already in mind, often the biggest one they could find. The better question is where your face is sagging and how thick your skin is. That decides whether Ultherapy is worth the money, and how much of it you need.

Quick answer: what Ultherapy costs at Peachcell

  • 300 shots: ₩390,000, which works out to about ₩1,300 per shot. 100 shots: ₩200,000.
  • These are winter 2026 event prices, valid until 30 November 2026. VAT (10%) is added on top.
  • A full lower face usually takes a few hundred shots; the doctor sets the number after examining your face.
  • Results build over 2 to 3 months and often last about a year. Most people can fly home the next day.

How Ultherapy is priced in Korea

Korean clinics price Ultherapy by the shot. One shot is one line of focused ultrasound points delivered by the handpiece. More shots cover a larger area, or add a second depth in the same area.

This makes prices easy to compare between clinics, as long as you compare the same things:

  • The device. Ultherapy PRIME is the current version made by Merz. It shows a live ultrasound image of your tissue layers before each line, so the depth can be checked as it is delivered.
  • Genuine cartridges. Ask to see the sealed cartridge before treatment begins. A low price per shot means little if the cartridge is not genuine.
  • Who plans the shots. Ask whether a doctor examines your face and decides the areas and depths, not only a counselor.
  • What is included. Numbing cream and a check-up are part of the visit at Peachcell. VAT (10%) is added on top of listed prices in Korea.

How many shots does your face need?

There is no single right number. A full lower face often takes a few hundred shots, and the count depends on three things:

  1. The size of the area. A jawline alone needs fewer shots than the jaw, lower cheeks and under the chin together.
  2. How deep the sagging is. Deep sagging is treated at more than one depth: the 4.5 mm cartridge reaches the SMAS, the layer a surgeon tightens in a facelift, and the 3.0 mm and 1.5 mm cartridges work in the dermis above it.
  3. Your skin thickness. On thin skin over bone, the doctor lowers the energy or skips a depth. More shots is not always better there.

The eye area uses a separate, smaller handpiece, which is why Eye Ultherapy is priced on its own (225 or 450 shots).

My advice: do not choose the shot number before the consultation. Choose the areas you want to change, and let the doctor tell you how many shots that takes on your face.

Is Ultherapy the right lift for your face shape?

The same price can be good value on one face and wasted on another. What matters is where the sagging comes from, and how much volume and skin thickness you have.

Your faceWhat usually fits
Jowls, a jawline that has lost its edge, deep lines beside the mouthUltherapy, often in the deep layer
A round face where fat along the jaw is the main issueOnda, alone or with Ultherapy
A thin face with hollow cheeksXERF + Hilowave: strong deep heating can make it look more tired
Early laxity with thin, crepey skinThermage FLX or XERF, which work more on the skin itself
Very low pain toleranceTitanium or Onda as a gentler start

This is why the first step at Peachcell is the 3D scan and a look at your face sitting up. Sagging, fat and volume loss look similar in a photo but need different treatments.

A case from our clinic: Ultherapy with a fat-dissolving injection

Before and after: Ultherapy with a DCA fat-dissolving injection for the jawline, Peachcell Clinic
Ultherapy + DCA injection, a case published by Peachcell Clinic. Results vary from person to person.

This is one of the cases we have published. When the jawline is blurred by both sagging and a small pocket of fat under the jaw, Ultherapy alone tightens the deep layer but leaves the fat. Adding a DCA fat-dissolving injection treats the fat, so the jaw line can read more clearly.

It is a good example of why the plan starts from the cause. The same blurred jawline on another face might need Onda for fat, or volume rather than tightening.

When results show and how long they last

  • Right after: some people feel a little tightening straight away.
  • 2 to 3 months: the main change, as new collagen forms in the treated layers.
  • Around a year: many people keep a visible effect for about a year, then repeat. Aging continues, and results vary from person to person.

Ultherapy does not give the result of a surgical facelift. Deep sagging with a lot of loose skin may improve only partly, and I will tell you so at the consultation.

Pain, downtime and flying home

  • Pain: it is one of the more uncomfortable lifts. Most people describe a deep, sharp heat, strongest along the jawbone. We apply numbing cream for 30 to 40 minutes first, and the energy can be adjusted in sensitive spots.
  • Treatment time: about 30 to 60 minutes for the face.
  • Downtime: usually little. Redness for a few hours; some people have mild swelling, tenderness or tingling for days to a couple of weeks.
  • Same day: you can wash your face and wear makeup.
  • For a week: skip alcohol, saunas, jjimjilbang and strong facial massage.
  • Flying: most people can fly the next day. There is no wound to care for. If you want a check before you leave, book Ultherapy early in your trip.

Is Ultherapy worth it?

It is usually worth it when:

  • your main concern is jowls, a blurred jawline or heaviness under the chin, and
  • the sagging is in the deep layer rather than only in the skin, and
  • you want a non-surgical lift and can accept a few months for the full result.

It is usually not the best use of your budget when your face is thin and hollow, when fat is the main issue, or when the concern is mostly skin texture. In those cases a different lift, or a combination, gives more for the same money. You can read how the main devices compare in Ultherapy vs Thermage in Korea, and the full treatment details on our Ultherapy PRIME page.

How a visit goes at Peachcell

  1. Before your trip: send a front and side photo without makeup on WhatsApp. You get an honest view and an estimated price before you book flights.
  2. 3D skin scan: EVE MUSE measures what is hard to judge by eye.
  3. Doctor consultation: the doctor examines your face sitting up, finds where the sagging comes from, and marks the areas and depths.
  4. Treatment: numbing cream, then Ultherapy PRIME with a sealed, genuine cartridge.
  5. After: aftercare guidance, and progress review once the collagen has had time to build.

Peachcell is on the 3rd floor of YK Tower, 121 Dosan-daero, a minute from Sinsa Station Exit 8. Building parking is free; valet is ₩4,000.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Ultherapy cost in Korea?

How many Ultherapy shots do I need?

It depends on the area, how deep the sagging is and your skin thickness. A full lower face often takes a few hundred shots. The doctor sets the number after examining your face.

Is Ultherapy worth it?

Usually yes for jowls, a blurred jawline or deep sagging. For a thin, hollow face, fat along the jaw or mainly skin texture, another lift such as XERF, Onda or Thermage often fits better.

When will I see Ultherapy results?

Some tightening can be felt right away. The main change comes over 2 to 3 months as collagen forms, and many people keep a visible effect for about a year. Results vary.

Can I fly home the day after Ultherapy?

Most people can. There is no wound, and swelling or tenderness, if any, is usually mild. Book it early in your trip if you want a check before you leave.

Results vary by individual. Every treatment plan is decided after an in-person consultation with the doctor.

Not sure how many shots you need?

I was looking for a clinic that would offer reasonable prices with good service, not rushed like other major chains. The whole process from start to end was so smooth and every staff member treated me with care! The director is also so careful during the procedure.

Above and beyond! I booked via their Instagram and it was quick and easy. They were very accommodating upon my arrival and the whole process was quick and smooth. They even provided a friendly, helpful translator who had a lot of insights into the procedures that were being done given her experience translating for other patients. She stayed with me throughout the whole process and was helpful in asking the doctor questions and providing guidance on the whole process! I consulted with one of their doctors who gave me his expert recommendation on what needs to be done for my face given my personal goals. They were not pushy at all on the procedures and even provided value-added services to my final package which was much appreciated. The procedures themselves were efficient - a doctor did both my lifting and microneedling treatments, and they adjusted whenever I expressed that I had some pain or discomfort. The post-procedure facial helped soothe my face and minimize redness and after effects. Cannot recommend this clinic enough for when you’re looking for a place to get your skin treatments done in Seoul! I will definitely be back.

They provided an english interpreter who walked me through the visit every step of the way. Her name is Sun and she is absolutely fabulous. The doctor, manager, and every assistant along the way made this a seamless operation and every detail was thought out- from the relaxing room with the numbing cream to the stuffed animal to hold onto for comfort. I highly recommend them!

Was recommended by a family member, came in not knowing what to expect. Consultation was quick and beginner friendly, although I did have to wait quite a bit. Probably because the place is popular. Will have to wait to see definitive results but wouldn't mind visiting again if the results prove great!

I had an incredible experience at Peachcell Clinic! From the moment I walked in, the staff and doctor made me feel so welcomed and well cared for. They started with a detailed EveMuse 3D facial analysis, which really helped identify my exact skin concerns rather than just offering a generic treatment.. The doctor personally evaluated my skin condition and recommended Sylfirm X and botox. Everything was thoroughly explained step-by-step, making me feel completely safe and confident. Receiving the treatment in a private, 1-on-1 room was so comfortable and relaxing. If you’re looking for high-quality, personalized dermatological care in Seoul, I highly recommend Peachcell Clinic. Definitely coming back! 💕✨

I visited the clinic after being recommended by an acquaintance while looking for a place where the doctor personally provides consultations. The director examined my face directly and recommended the treatments I needed, which made me feel very confident and trusting. I have very little facial fat and thin skin, so the doctor recommended the XERF lifting treatment for me. He said that radiofrequency lifting suits my face well, and after the procedure I’m extremely satisfied. My skin feels firmer, there’s a noticeable lifting effect, and my facial shape looks more refined. I could really feel how carefully the doctor performed the lifting, and I’m very grateful. I’ll definitely come back for XERF lifting every six months. Thank you so much!

Peach Cell Clinic, which recently opened in Sinsa-dong! It’s super easy to find since it’s right near Exit 8 of Sinsa Station on Line 3. From the moment I walked in, I was drawn to the beautiful and cozy atmosphere. Before the procedure, I had a consultation directly with the head doctor, which really boosted my confidence and trust. Another big plus was the 3D imaging, which helped clearly identify areas that could be improved. From anesthesia to the procedure itself, the staff were incredibly attentive, and I’m very satisfied with the results. If you’re looking for a great dermatology clinic near Sinsa Station, I highly recommend♥️
